The 7th Annual Innovation Summit was incredible!

Hosted annually in partnership with the Colorado Office of eHealth Innovation, the Prime Health Innovation Summit is Colorado’s largest digital health innovation gathering.  This year’s Summit focused on contextualizing innovation as a means to advance health equity and affordability. Speakers included national leaders on social impact, diversity, equity, and inclusion in health innovation, Colorado provider organizations sharing successes and challenges in innovation, groundbreaking entrepreneurs, and panels of consumers and advocates speaking on topics related to cost of care, behavioral health, rural health, and access barriers. Of course, we also had plenty of breakout rooms, networking sessions with speakers, sponsors, and attendees, and virtual expo booths.

All events were offered virtually to improve accessibility and inclusion for rural communities as well as address appropriate social distancing measures in the time of COVID-19.

The grand finale to this packed agenda was the 7th annual Innovation Challenge Live Pitch Event. For the last six months, Challenge Judges assessed, mentored, and vetted health tech companies from around the world on their ideas and solutions for making an impact in Colorado healthcare. Attendees to the Live Pitch Event heard pitches from the Finalists, voted on the People’s Choice Award, and found out who won up to $150,000 in prize funding, sponsored by the Colorado Health Foundation.
