Finalists Announced in the 2020 Prime Health Innovation Challenge! 🎉

Prime Health is excited to announce the 2020 Prime Health Innovation Challenge Finalists! 50 companies from around the world applied to compete in one of the top ranked health innovation competitions in the nation and win the chance to partner with a Colorado healthcare organization.
Powered by The Colorado Health Foundation, the five-month competition vets and validates companies on a series of business, clinical, diversity and inclusivity, and social impact rubrics in order to identify the most relevant, sustainable, and market-ready solutions to improve healthcare and advance health innovation for Colorado’s underserved and marginalized populations.
More than 115 judges are participating this year, representing a range of perspectives and expertise in Colorado healthcare, technology, community, and business. 17 companies advanced to the semi-finals in August. Today, we are happy to announce that after another round of judging, these six companies have been selected as finalists for this year’s live Challenge Pitch Event on November 13th.

These companies will compete on Friday, November 13th with a live, virtual event where finalists pitch their solutions to a panel of healthcare stakeholders, and an audience of hundreds, to win a portion of $150,000 in prize funding and the opportunity to partner with a Colorado-based healthcare provider organization. Attendees of the event can make their voice heard by voting for their favorite company in the People's Choice Award.
The Challenge Pitch Event will be preceded by the 2020 Prime Health Summit on November 12th and 13th. The Prime Health Innovation Summit is hosted annually in partnership with the Colorado Governor’s Office of eHealth Innovation; focused on innovation as a means to advance health equity and affordability. Speakers at the two-day, virtual event include State leadership presenting on the state of healthcare and health innovation in Colorado, leaders on social impact, diversity, equity, and inclusion in health innovation, Colorado provider organizations sharing successes and challenges in innovation, and panels of consumers and advocates speaking on topics related to cost of care, behavioral health, rural health, and examples of how innovation is being used to better support and improve care for Colorado communities.
