Prime Health Announces Winners in the 2023 Innovation Challenge in California

DENVER, COLORADO (July 23, 2024) - Prime Health is excited to announce the 2023 Prime Health Innovation Challenge winners! Twenty-nine companies from around the world applied to compete in one of the top-ranked health innovation competitions in the nation and win the chance to partner with a healthcare organization in California and a portion of $150,000 in prize funding. The competition ended with a live pitch competition, sponsored by Cooley and held at Larta Institute, on Thursday, July 18. At this event, the top finalists presented their solutions to provider organizations for bidding.

Powered by The California Health Care Foundation, the competition vets and validates companies on a series of business, clinical, diversity and inclusivity, and social impact rubrics in order to identify the most relevant, sustainable, and market-ready solutions to improve healthcare and advance health innovation for underserved and marginalized populations in California.

More than 60 judges participated in this year’s event, representing a range of perspectives and expertise in California healthcare, technology, community, and business. Sixteen companies advanced to the semi-finals in October, and seven companies advanced to the final round in March. Over 60 attendees in person and virtually joined the live events on Thursday, July 18,  to see the seven finalists present their solutions.

Today, we are excited to announce the winners of the 2023 Prime Health Innovation Challenge in California:
