Prime Health Announces Winners in the 2024 Innovation Challenge in Colorado
DENVER, COLORADO (November 15, 2024) - Prime Health is excited to announce the 2024 Prime Health Innovation Challenge winners! Twenty-four companies applied to compete in one of the top-ranked health innovation competitions in the nation and win the chance to partner with a healthcare organization in Colorado and a portion of $150,000 in prize funding. The competition ended with a live pitch competition, held at Coors Field and kicking off our Innovation Summit, on Tuesday, November 12. At this event, the top finalists presented their solutions to provider organizations for bidding.
Powered by The Colorado Health Foundation, the competition vets and validates companies on a series of business, clinical, diversity and inclusivity, and social impact rubrics in order to identify the most relevant, sustainable, and market-ready solutions to improve healthcare and advance health innovation for underserved and marginalized populations in Colorado.
More than 40 judges participated in this year’s event, representing a range of perspectives and expertise in Colorado healthcare, technology, community, and business. Fourteen companies advanced to the semi-finals in June, and seven companies advanced to the final round in September. Over 50 attendees in person and virtually joined the live events on Tuesday, November 12, to see the seven finalists present their solutions.

Tied for 2nd Place | $50,000 | Welfie
Now that winners and funding amounts have been determined, ThriveLink, Pear Suite, and Welfie will begin working with provider organizations who bid on their solutions to develop and implement funded pilots, supported by Prime Health, and the Colorado Health Foundation. Past winners include nationally award-winning, innovative, and impact-driven companies, including Manatee, Meru Health, phas3, STREAMD, Care on Location, CareSignal, Redox, Nymbl Science, CirrusMD, and more.
